I’m Jessica Walters Thompson, a community-focused strategist with a background in nonprofit leadership, event development, fundraising, small business promotion, and social media storytelling. I’ve led large-scale public festivals like Orange Uncorked and Tapestry, coordinated nonprofit fundraising events, and managed business launches, ribbon cuttings, and community campaigns that helped local organizations grow their visibility and revenue.

In roles such as Interim Executive Director of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce and President of the James Madison Museum of Orange County Heritage, I planned and executed events ranging from intimate donor experiences to multi-thousand attendee festivals. I have developed sponsorship packages, managed vendor outreach, negotiated partnerships, designed run-of-show logistics, coordinated volunteers, and created full marketing rollouts that increased engagement and attendance.

As a social media manager and content strategist, I’ve helped small businesses, creative entrepreneurs, and nonprofits grow consistent online engagement using storytelling, brand voice alignment, reels and short-form content, promotional campaigns, community spotlights, and strategic content calendars. My work has supported businesses in boosting foot traffic, increasing event attendance, and improving donor or customer engagement through authentic, mission-centered messaging.
